LS Begins 2025 Season This Thursday

After traveling to Rhode Island to scrimmage La Salle Academy this past Saturday, the Lincoln-Sudbury Warriors are set to take on two tough opponents as they kick off the 2025 season. On Thursday, March 27, at 6:30 PM, the Warriors will travel to face the Billerica Indians. They’ll then return to action on Saturday, March 29, at 2:00 PM, taking on Niskayuna (NY) in a highly anticipated interstate showdown.
This year’s defense will be anchored by junior captain and Navy commit Kevin Abair (33, ground balls, 24 caused turnovers in 2024) alongside junior captain Owen Vona (26 GB, 20 CT). The rope unit will be filled out by returning D-Middies Matthew Tasker and Dylan MacLeod.
At the faceoff X, RPI bound senior Dante Venuto returns after taking 552 faceoffs for the Warriors since the 2022 season.
On the other side of the ball, the Warriors bring back an experienced offensive unit, with Rex Friedholm (45 goals in 2024) and Brady Malo (43 goals) leading the scoring charge. Brendan Dooley (6 goals, 20 assists) and Kaeden Ryan (22 goals, 10 assists) will provide additional firepower.
