Strong Third Quarter Propels Warriors To Victory Over CC

Concord, MA – LS took control on both ends of the field as they secured a 12-4 victory over Concord-Carlisle.

CC struggled to gain offensive momentum, while LS capitalized on their possessions to control the game. Junior attackman, Brady Malo, found the net 4 times as did sophomore Tyler Deede. LS led 4-1 at the end of the first half but used the third quarter to build a comfortable lead.

How it Happened

LS controlled the game from the start, using possession time and a strong ride to limit CC's offensive opportunities. The LS defense was applied pressure to CC shooters, allowing only 17 total shots and 9 shots on target throughout the game.

LS started the second half strong, scoring 7 goals to extend their lead to 10 in the third quarter. The faceoff unit saw success as well, winning 85.0% of draws (17-of-20), providing LS with substantial possession time.

The fourth quarter saw LS adding one more goal to seal the victory while CC's offense managed to find the net three times late in the game.
